SUBMISSION OF ORIGINAL HARDCOPY PERSONAL BONDS FOR DEPENDANT PASS APPLICATIONS TO EMGS
1.PURPOSE
1.1 EMGS would like to provide an update on the bulletin sent out on 27th February 2023–“Submission of Original Hardcopy Personal Bonds to EMGS”.
1.2 In the previous bulletin,we mentioned that Educational Institutions are only required to provide EMGS with a copy of the personal bond which has been duly stamped by LHDN(physically or via online)for the endorsements of students and dependant passes.
1.3 In this bulletin,EMGS would like to provide an update regarding the submission of the Personal Bond for the dependant pass applications.
2.IMPLEMENTATION
2.1 With immediate effect,the‘Immigration Department–Cawangan EMGS’requires the educational institutions to submit the original hardcopy of the personal bond which has been duly stamped in the LHDN office for all dependant pass applications.
2.2Education Institutions can submit a copy of the personal bond if they opt for online stamping.
